In our English lessons we recently stumbled across climate change. We specifically took a closer look at waste avoidance:  for example we discussed how we could use less packaging and reuse plastic and other items to reduce waste.

We decided that we also want to make a change and want to stop people from throwing away stuff they don’t need anymore, but that`s still too good to be thrown away. That’s why we thought of a project we could realise so that it’s easier for people to trade those things they don’t need anymore for something that is new to them but isn’t needed by somebody else no longer.

That’s where we want to present you fairTAUSCHEN,

which is all about trading. You are allowed to bring up to five items like books, toys, clothes, kitchen gadgets, jewellery, decoration and so on. You just deposit them at the entrance and get some ‘coins’ in exchange. With those coins you can ‘buy’ any item(s) you want afterwards. The goal of this is to have many different people trading different things so that those items don't have to be thrown away. An important aspect is that these objects have to be new, as good as new or still unused. There’s no need to worry - if you want to try on clothes, you can do so in our wardrobe.

fairTAUSCHEN

Don't let them fade - let us trade!
